Císařské lázně – Karlovy Vary

The Imperial Spa in Karlovy Vary is a unique monument of international significance. The entire building bears the legacy of the 'golden age' of European spa culture and recalls times when Karlovy Vary were a meeting place for the world’s elite. In its time the Imperial Spa was the most modern facility of its kind in the world. Today the renovated spaces of the historically significant building offer a multifunctional event venue. The main social and cultural space of the whole building is the new multifunctional hall inserted into the atrium of the historic structure. The hall is equipped with the necessary audiovisual, stage and acoustic technologies. A telescopic tribune serves for flexible use of the space and has two basic positions: when needed the extended elevation with seats can be used for comfortable viewing of classical music performances, or it can be retracted to leave a flat floor suitable, for example, for electroacoustic concerts or balls. The capacity is up to 300 people.

Among the most important and beautiful spaces of the Imperial Spa is the Zander Hall. The hall was named after the Swedish physician Gustav Zander (1835–1920) and is richly decorated with carvings and an impressive pictorial ornamentation. The representative spaces of the Zander Hall offer a unique atmosphere and are ideal for holding classical music concerts, weddings and corporate events. The hall accommodates up to 200 visitors.

The smallest space is the library, which is suitable for e.g. literary projects, exhibitions and lectures with a capacity of 60 people. For events, upon the client's request, catering, accommodation, technical equipment, transport and a welcome service can be arranged.
