The complex was established in 1946 to serve the needs of the International Film Festival. It combines a unique history with modern possibilities for concerts, festivals, theatre performances and open-air film screenings.
The total capacity is 3,500 seats, of which 500 are covered in the grandstand. It is the largest amphitheatre in the Karlovy Vary Region. The grandstand can also be used as a VIP zone with its own social facilities, ensuring a comfortable environment even for the most discerning guests.
Parking areas are available in the vicinity of the complex; the venue itself features a stage, a projection screen, technical facilities, catering options and dressing rooms for performers.
